Crafting tradition: Serat-ul-Aqsa revives Kashmiri artisanry with passion and purpose

Srinagar, May 02 (ANI): With a passion for traditional Kashmiri craftsmanship and a desire to promote the rich heritage of Kashmir, Serat-ul-Aqsa, a visionary entrepreneur has embarked on a journey to establish a wool and Pashmina knitting unit in Srinagar. The purpose of the initiative was to showcase the skill and artistry of local artisans. Serat-ul-Aqsa has worked hard to find the best materials and train her team well. Her goal is to make every item from her workshop a beautiful example of Kashmiri textiles. She also hoped to provide employment opportunities for local artisans and also preserve and promote the traditional art of woolen and Pashmina weaving in Srinagar. She aimed to create unique and luxurious products by blending modern techniques with traditional craftsmanship. Her story served as an inspiration to aspiring entrepreneurs and artisans, proving that with hard work and dedication, anything is possible.
