Bulandshahr (UP), February 14, 2026 (ANI): Suspended BJP functionary Nupur Sharma says, "I would like to remind all our sisters across the country that when respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi came for his third term, he had said that the third term would be in the name of the sisters. He had also appealed for the Lakhpati Didi scheme and that is why my message in this program today was that sisters should not only be educated and promoted, they should also be empowered. They should take care of their own safety. Defence courses should be started in all colleges and a safe environment should be created for the sisters to live. So today, with this message, I have come." On the Babri Masjid construction row in Bengal, she says, "...It is a challenge to the Supreme Court and the court should take a suo-moto cognisance." On Vande Mataram, she said, "...Those who do not love the country, those who have anti-national ideologies will oppose Vande Mataram."
