Srinagar, Nov 01 (ANI): Construction of the first-ever synthetic Rugby turf is in full swing in Srinagar. The initiative has been taken by the Jammu and Kashmir administration with the aim of hosting National and International matches. It will help to boost the sports infrastructure and to attract both National and International tournaments, promoting Rugby in the region. It is the first-ever synthetic Rugby turf which is being constructed for the first time in Kashmir. Meanwhile, Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council and all stakeholders are relentlessly working to nurture young talent and provide facilities to boost sports among the youth. The establishment of Rugby turf in Srinagar not only expands sports facilities but also offers a platform for local talents to excel in sports. It also helps to provide opportunities for hosting major rugby events, contributing to the overall growth and recognition of the sport in the region.
