New Delhi, February 11 (ANI): On FM Nirmala Sitharaman's reply to the debate on the Union Budget in Lok Sabha, Congress MP Gaddam Vamsi Krishna expressed dismay. While speaking to ANI, he alleged that Telangana was ignored in the Union Budget. "Today, we requested the Finance Minister to take a look at Telangana also. Telangana has not been mentioned at all in the Budget. It is very disappointing because every Rupee Telangana contributes to the Government, we hardly get back 40 paise in terms of investments. But Bihar gets 3 times their contribution to tax, UP gets almost 10 times their contribution to tax. It is a clear neglect on the Governemnt, there is no love for Telangana, as we always keep saying...We have been repeatedly asking them to increase the pensions and perks for The Singareni employees...We have put in a demand to the FM to increase their pension fund to at least Rs 10,000 per month and this is the biggest need of the hour because the people who are working in the mines are working hard day in and day out and very sad to see that such poor pension is being given to the workers and they are left to die in poverty. That is what we want to fight for," said Gaddam Vamsi Krishna
