New Delhi, December 01 (ANI): At the launch of Vikram Sampath's book ‘Tipu Sultan: The Saga of the Mysore Interregnum’, External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar described Tipu Sultan as a complex historical figure, balancing his resistance to British colonial rule with the strong adverse sentiments he evokes today. Jaishankar emphasized the need for a more nuanced understanding of Tipu’s legacy, criticizing how history has often overlooked the more complicated aspects of his rule.
