Agartala (Tripura), December 26, 2025 (ANI): Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha attended the solemn observance of Bir Bal Diwas at Gurudwara Sahib in Chandmari, paying homage to the Sahibzadas, the young sons of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, whose courage and sacrifice are commemorated every year on December 26. During the ceremony, the Chief Minister offered prayers and floral tributes, highlighting the timeless values of bravery, resilience, and selfless sacrifice demonstrated by the Sahibzadas, who chose martyrdom over abandoning their faith. The event brought together devotees, community leaders, and members of the Sikh sangat to honour this historic legacy. The Gurudwara resonated with kirtan and ardas, followed by the serving of langar, reflecting the Sikh ethos of equality and service. The observance reinforced the importance of remembering historic sacrifices and underscored the Tripura government’s respect for India’s diverse cultural and religious traditions while promoting unity and shared values among all communities.
