Mumbai, October 14 (ANI): Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde made a significant announcement, declaring five toll plazas in Mumbai free for cars. He said this decision came after the cabinet meeting, where decisions were made without considering upcoming elections. CM Shinde emphasized that his government's decisions prioritize public welfare, not political gain. He criticized the opposition, specifically the Congress, for making false promises in Karnataka and Himachal Pradesh. CM Eknath Shinde after cabinet made five toll plazas free for cars in Mumbai said, "The decisions taken by our Mahayuti government are not taken keeping elections in mind... Congress made false promises to people in Karnataka and Himachal Pradesh. This is what they do... We are providers. They (opposition) are takers... They have lost their confidence. Their fight is not for the CM, their fight is for LoP..."
