CM Bhajan Lal Sharma unveils Maharana Pratap statue; launches Water & Greenery Drive

Chittorgarh (Rajasthan), May 29, 2025 (ANI): CM Bhajan Lal Sharma reaches chittorgarh to unveil the statue of Maharana Pratap built in Sagar area.While addressing the unveiling ceremony of Maharana Pratap's statue in Chittorgarh, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma said – “We salute the bravery and courage of Rana Punja.” The Chief Minister extended greetings to everyone on the occasion of Maharana Pratap Jayanti and said that “Maharana Pratap never compromised on self-respect. He is a symbol of pride and valor. Future generations should take inspiration from Maharana Pratap, whose name is written in golden letters in the pages of history.”The CM said, “Under the Jal Swavlamban Abhiyan (Water Self-Reliance Campaign), a fortnight-long campaign will run from June 5 to June 20. Everyone should participate in it and work towards water conservation. After forming our government, we have done solid work in the area of drinking water. DPRs are being prepared for several districts.”He further said, “I assure you, the work done in this forest area will be historic. I appeal to all mothers and sisters to take responsibility for conserving water. Under the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’, we have set a target of planting 10 crore trees this time. Your support is needed in this too, and we should all contribute to making Rajasthan greener.”He said, “All youth should prepare themselves; they will get government as well as private jobs. There will be no shortage of jobs in any sector. Nowadays, you can see that senior Congress leaders, when their government was in power, didn’t do any real work. Now when we take action, they just tweet about it. These Congress leaders have now become ‘tweet masters’. But I want to ask them during their tenure, what work did they actually do? They should also tweet and tell the public about that.”
