Cloudburst destroys Uttarkashi: rescue op underway, forces on Ground Zero: watch horrific aftermath

Uttarkashi (Uttarakhand), Aug 05 2025 (ANI): Cloudburst-triggered flash floods in Uttarakhand's Uttarkashi district wreaked havoc on Aug 05. Nature’s disaster swept away homes, shops, and roads, with several people feared missingOver 130 people have been rescued so far, according to the Uttarakhand government officials. Overnight visuals showcased intensity of damage as security forces began rescue ops under testing weather conditions. Three NDRF teams comprising 35 members each have reached Harsil to assist with rescue efforts.
