Kolkata, December 25 (ANI): At least 1000 people queued up on December 25 to buy Christmas cakes at Nahoum & Sons in New Market, Kolkata. A 121-year old bakery, it is one of the oldest confectioneries in Kolkata. Established in 1902 in Hoggs Market (today New Market), this is an iconic bakery in Kolkata and also one of the oldest operating Jewish bakeries in the country. Despite the queue, people found it worth the time to wait in it for a long time to get the delicious cakes. This Jewish bakery is known for its Christmas special - the Rich Fruit Cake which is one of their oldest standing items and can last up to three weeks in winter.
