“Chennai people stood up in solidarity…”: K Annamalai over ‘family-less’ remarks on PM Modi

Chennai March 04 (ANI): Tamil Nadu BJP president K Annamalai praised Chennai people for the arousal welcome of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He added that Chennai people was delighted when PM said that everybody is his family. Speaking to ANI, K Annamalai said "I am very happy the whole of Chennai turned up today to welcome our PM in a big way. Especially you should have seen the scene when PM said that everybody is his family...The whole of the public here. They stood up. They switched on their cell phone. They've shown PM the light just to tell him that we are with you. No matter what, we are with you. So that is the kind of response Chennai gave today. The PM also gave a vision. When Vikshit Bharat has to happen, Vikshit Tamil Nadu has to happen along with it. So he has laid out emphasis on growth, emphasis for development at the same time he has attacked corruption. We all know the ruling parties are now known for dynasty, known for corruption at the root level..."
