Chef Vishnu Manohar makes 7,000 kg ‘Ram halwa’ in Ayodhya on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti

Ayodhya (UP), Feb 20 (ANI): Renowned chef Vishnu Manohar prepared 7000kg ‘Ram Halwa’ for the Ayodhya Ram Temple devotees on the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on February 19. Chef Vishnu Manohar made the halwa in the giant ‘Hanuman Kadhai’ in the courtyard of Ram Temple. The Halwa Prasad was made of semolina, desi ghee, pure water and dry fruits. Along with famous chef Vishnu Manohar, many devotees were seen adding dry fruits to join the master chef in his culinary endeavor. They chanted slogans of “Jai Sriram” and “Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj ki jay”. A devotee, who came from San Francisco, USA, said, “When we were told that 7000 kg halwa is in the making, I thought we should come together and all the Indians staying in America should get the Prasad. Next year we will make this kind of halwa there.”
