Chandrayaan-3: Ashok Gehlot calls Moon mission “historic”; will watch live stream with school kids

Jaipur (Rajasthan), August 23 (ANI): Over 140 crore Indians are waiting for the soft-landing of nation’s ambitious lunar mission Chandrayaan 3 with bated breath. The scheduled timing for the soft landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the Moon’s south pole on August 23, 2023 (Wednesday), is around 18:04 IST, with the powered descent of Vikram lander expected at 1745 IST. Commenting on the same, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot congratulated all the scientists associated with the mission while calling it “historic”. "We have invited children to the CM house where we will be watching it (live streaming). I want to congratulate our scientists & everyone associated with this mission. It is a historic mission,” he said while speaking to media persons on August 23.
