Central Govt to devise advanced techniques to tackle terrorism in J&K: Union MoS Jitendra Singh

Kathua (J&K) August 04 (ANI): Union Minister Jitendra Singh on August 03 visited J&K. While interacting with the media, he spoke about Govt’s plans to use advanced technologies to tackle terrorism in the valley. The initial strategies would include the revival of Village Defence Guards and modernising their weapons. He also mentioned that the Indian Army would soon adopt special strategies to tackle terrorism in the union territory. The union minister’s statement comes after a spate of terror incidents in the valley wherein the Indian Army gave a befitting reply to the terrorists.
