Srinagar(J&K), May 19 (ANI): People across the world celebrated international museum day on May 18 and bought excitement in the students. Every year on May 18 people worldwide celebrate International Museum Day aimed to learn something about the rich past. since 1977 the International Council of Museums (I.C.O.M.) has been organizing this special day to honor museums and their essential role in sharing and preserving culture. To celebrate this day hundreds of students throng Shri Pratap Singh (SPS) museum lal Mandi Srinagar where they spend a good time learning about the rich history of Kashmir. The theme for International Museum Day in 2024 is “Museums for Education and Research”.
