‘Can’t sway away from attributing her…” Union Minister Suresh Gopi on Indira Gandhi’s ‘draconian act’

Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala), June 16 (ANI): MoS for Tourism, Suresh Gopi made a big statement on former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi on June 16. While addressing a press conference in Kerala’s Thiruvananthapuram, he said that simply because Indira Gandhi is from Congress and for draconian act of hers, he cannot sway away from attributing. Suresh Gopi said, “Simply because Indira Gandhi is from Congress and for draconian act of her, I cannot sway away from attributing. I call her the real architect post-Independence until her death.” The first Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP in Kerala, Suresh Gopi, has called former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi the "Mother of India" and the late Congress leader and former Kerala Chief Minister K Karunakaran a "courageous administrator."
