BSF on high alert ahead of Independence Day celebration; Soldiers being given special training against enemy drones

Amritsar (Punjab) August 10 (ANI): In the view of Independence Day celebration BSF is on high alert. Along with the deployment of female soldiers along the Indo-Pak border in Amritsar, the jawans are also being made prepared against enemy drones. The male and female soldiers are being given special training to bid foil any suspicious activity by terrorists using drones. The soldiers were trained to identify intruder drones in the border areas by their sound and brand. Border areas see regular terrorist activities from the neighbouring country Pakistan and hence security has been tightened in those areas. Notably, security has also been beefed up across the nation in view of August 15.
