“Black deeds of Congress …” UP CM Yogi recalls horror of Emergency

Lucknow (UP), June 26 (ANI): Talking about ‘dark days’ of Emergency, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on June 26 attacked Congress and former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Following this, he said that the faces in Congress may have changed but its character is still dictatorial, and even today they don't have faith in constitutional bodies. "It is a historic day. On completion of 50 years of Emergency, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla passed a resolution condemning the Emergency in the House today. I thank him for bringing this resolution. On 25th June 1975, Indira Gandhi strangled the very Constitution of which she took oath to become PM. It is important to tell the public about these black deeds of Congress. Congress' present leadership which is trying to mislead the nation today in the name of the Constitution and ending reservation. The faces in Congress may have changed but its character is still dictatorial and even today they don't have faith in constitutional bodies...In the last 75 years, Congress made 75 amendments to the Constitution..."
