Lucknow (UP), Feb 27 (ANI): As the Rajya Sabha election commenced on February 27 in Uttar Pradesh, Samajwadi party leader Akhilesh Yadav interacted with the media over the election. In his interaction with the media, Akhilesh Yadav talked about the desperation of BJP to win the Rajya Sabha election. He stated, “Not everybody has the guts to stand against the government. BJP will use any trick to win the election. They have shown dishonesty in Chandigarh. They have destroyed the ballots and the votes. In the context of UP, BJP has done everything to acquire votes in the Rajya Sabha election, and whoever went there doesn’t have the courage to stand against the government.” Hinting at the resignation of Manoj Kumar Pandey as Chief Whip in UP Assembly, pointing at the media, he said, “You will know better why someone left, maybe someone needed security, maybe he got threatened, there was some constraint, lots of rumours are going on. Rumours about some package is also in the air. But it is not explicit whether the package was small or huge. If you understand let me know.”
