Bengaluru, Feb 15 (ANI): An FIR has been registered against two BJP leaders Vedavyas Kamath and Y Bharath Shetty for allegedly forcing school students to raise “Jai Shri Ram slogans” in Mangalore. The case has been registered under the relevant sections of IPC. While reacting to it, Karnataka BJP President BY Vijayendra asked the state Government how sloganeering of Jai Shri Ram is anti-democratic. “Is sloganeering of Jai Shri Ram anti-democratic? Under the leadership of Siddaramaiah, just by hearing Lord Ram, they are getting disturbed... They are totally losing hope in the upcoming Loksabha polls. That's why they are acting very hastily by registering FIRs against BJP leaders," he added. Meanwhile, Congress MLA, Rizwan Ahmed lambasted on BJP and said that the BJP’s everyday affairs to crate communal tension. “It is an everyday affair for any BJP leader to come out and create communal tension, an environment where people cannot live peacefully… Do I have the right to barge into school and shout at the children, shout at the teachers, and make them raise religious slogans inside the school and provoke the society,”?
