New Delhi, Oct 26 (ANI): Speaking at the curtain raiser event of Chanakya Defence Dialogue in New Delhi on October 26, Indian Army Chief General Manoj Pande spoke about the profound lessons that India has learnt from the prolonged Russia_Ukraine war. Stressing on the importance of the self-reliance under the defence sector, the Army Chief also said that the war has reaffirmed that countries can go to war where national interests are involved. Lauding the Centre’s Agnipath Scheme, General Manoj Pande called it a significant and progressive step that was long overdue. He also mentioned that “We are seeing unprecedented changes in the world. We are also seeing the centrality of national interest in global affairs. National security importance is growing in international affairs”.
