“Based on a true story” Naga Chaitanya spills beans on his upcoming release ‘Thandel’

Mumbai, Jan 31 (ANI): On his experience of working with actress Sai Pallavi in his upcoming film Thandel, actor Naga Chaitanya says, "It's been a great experience working with the Pallavi, it is always a pleasure...She brings so much energy to the screen and she compliments my performance in so many ways..." On working with Bollywood again, he further adds, "I am always looking forward to it...We are so fortunate that our films made in Telugu are being accepted in Bollywood...Language is not a barrier anymore...I'm enjoying whatever we're doing, but always looking forward to Bollywood..." He further added, "Thandel means the captain of the ship, the one who leads the entire crew...The film is based on a true story...My character Raju is the 'Thandel', the leader of the group... These fishermen, unfortunately in one trip drift off into Pakistan waters and they get caught by the coast guard and put in Pakistan jail for a year and a half. So it is their journey through all this and how they come out and through all these layers there's a beautiful love story."
