New Delhi, Jan 29 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s remarks at Diamond Jubilee celebrations of the Supreme Court of India, left the judges of Supreme court in splits on January 28. PM said, “I understand that lawyers/judges are facing difficulties in old SC building and hence Centre has granted ₹800 cr for a new SC building. I hope someone doesn’t file a petition against it in SC, just like they did against new Parliament building.”
