Bahraich Violence: CM Yogi Adityanath meets victim’s family in Lucknow

Lucknow (UP), October 15 (ANI): Family members of the deceased of the Bahraich incident met Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath, in Lucknow on October 15. On October 14, situation turned tense after two communities clashed during Durga idol immersion procession in Mahasi area. Things worsened when one person was killed as the clashes turned violent, several shops and vehicles were vandalised by protestors. 30 people have been taken into custody and a case has been registered in the incident. Police also conducted a route march after clashes erupted during Durga idol immersion in Mahasi Maharajganj area in Bahraich.
