Ashok Gehlot gifts 500 crores to women of self-help groups in Sakhi Sammelan programme

Jaipur, (Rajasthan) August 18 (ANI): Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot gifted more than Rs 500 crores to the women of self-help groups in the "Sakhi Sammelan" programme held in Jaipur on August 18. CM Gehlot launched the ‘Samarth Sakhi Yojana’ under which women will be able to get scooty at 2.5 per cent interest rate. In order to make women farmers self-reliant, CM Gehlot will distribute cheques worth Rs 63 crore under Mahila Nidhi Loan, bank loan of a total of Rs 381 crores, and Rs 100 crores of promotion assistance. Panchayati Raj Minister Ramesh Meena, Chief Secretary Usha Sharma were also present in the programme.
