Reasi (J&K), July 27 (ANI): In a bid to hunt down terrorists in the valley, J&K Police in coordination with Army launched a massive search operation on July 27. The search operation was launched after an intel of suspicious movement of terrorists in Dadoa village of Reasi was reported. During the search operation, security forces cordoned off the area and a house and searched for the terrorists. The search op came after the security forces foiled an infiltration bid earlier in the day near the Line of Control in J&K’s Kupwara. As per the defence sources, Pakistan’s Border Action Team, which works closely with terrorist organisations, launched the border attack. In the major operation, the Indian Army gunned down one Pakistani militant as the operation was still in progress. However, five Indian Army personnel have suffered injuries in the ensuing military operation, sources added. Notably, Pakistan’s terror attempt comes a day after India celebrated Kargil Vijay Diwas on July 26.
