“Anyone but Modi…” Mahua Moitra fires salvo at BJP over Manipur violence in Lok Sabha

New Delhi, August 10 (ANI): TMC Lok Sabha MP Mahua Moitra fired salvo at BJP over Manipur violence in Lok Sabha. “We are here to ask questions in our “tum abhi chup raho republic”. Where the PM tells a Governor to “keep quiet”. Where elected MPs are told to be quiet. This motion is to break the silence on Manipur issue. Even with this motion the PM has not come to the House. He won’t sit and listen to all of us. He will come on the last day and destroy us all. We are waiting for that. I don’t know what is more unfortunate. That our PM refuses to come to the House of which he is an elected member to answer us on Manipur issue or that he refuses to go to Manipur. This is not just a No-Confidence Motion, this is ‘have faith in India’ motion. I.N.D.I.A has been forced to move a motion not to bring down the government but to resurrect something,” she said.
