Andhra Train Accident: Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw monitors situations from war room

New Delhi, Oct 30 (ANI): The horrific train accident on Oct 29 in Andhra Pradesh’s Vizianagram district has jolted the nation. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw took stock of the situation from the war room in Delhi. Notably, the death toll has mounted to 11, and at least 50 people were injured in the tragic accident. CPRO East Coast Railways informed that 18 trains have been cancelled and around 22 have been diverted. Andhra CM YS Jagan ordered immediate relief measures at the accident site. The Prime Minister has also announced the ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh from the PMNRF for the next of kin of each deceased.
