Anantnag of J&K declared best district in country in Trout Fishing

Anantnag (J&K), December 02 (ANI): The Anantnag District in South Kashmir on December 02 received laudable commendation and widespread acclaim at the national echelon. The district secured a top-ranking position among the prominent districts across the nation for its unwavering commitment to the robust advancement of fisheries in the region of Jammu and Kashmir. This felicitation transpired on the auspicious occasion of World Fisheries Day, celebrated at the national nexus in Gujarat Science City of Ahmedabad some days back. The district administration of Anantnag organised a felicitation ceremony in which the Deputy Commissioner of Anantnag felicitated employees of Fisheries department. During the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner also felicitated young entrepreneurs of Anantnag. The event was organised by the Ministry of Fisheries of Government of India.
