Ambassadors, Diplomats from over 70 countries arrive in Varanasi on Kartik Purnima

Varanasi (UP), Nov 27 (ANI): Ambassadors and diplomats of over 70 countries arrived in Varanasi on the occasion of Kartik Purnima. They will witness lighting of earthen lamps and also witness the Ganga Aarti and Dev Deepavali in the historic city. The visit is being organised by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA). Varanasi has previously hosted several G20 meetings during India’s presidency including the G20 Development Ministers Meeting and G20 Culture Ministers Meeting. Earlier this month, MEA had organized the visit of Ambassadors and Diplomats from 50 countries to Ayodhya on the occasion of Deepotsav held on the eve of Diwali.
