Air India Express sacks 25 employees for ‘unprofessional behaviour’ day after ‘mass sick leaves’

New Delhi, May 09 (ANI): The Air India Express on May 09 terminated around 25 cabin crew who reported 'sick' and didn't report to work. As per sources, the management terminated cabin crew members due to their ‘unprofessional behaviour’. The mass sick leave was considered a pre-meditated and concerted abstention from work without justifiable reason. The disruption caused by the mass sick leave affected more than 95+ flights of Air India Express between May 07, 08. Air India Express CEO, Aloke Singh also announced plans to reduce flight operations in the coming days.
