‘Abusive language, glass bottle smashed,’ TMC MP injured as Parliamentary meet on Waqf turns ugly

New Delhi, Oct 22 (ANI): Verbal spat ensued between one BJP MP and one Opposition side MP during Odisha Group presentation in JPC. Many eminent personalies including retired judges and supreme court lawyers were present in meeting. BJP MP Abhijit Gangopadhyay, TMC MP Kalyan Banerjee got into heated debate. Sources said that Kalyan Banerjee used abusive language against Abhijit Gangopadhyay. But, it has been claimed from both sides that abusive language was used. Meanwhile, Kalyan Banerjee picked up the glass water bottle kept there and hit it on the table and hurt himself. After this he threw the broken bottle towards the chairman. Due to the incident meeting adjourned for sometimes.
