New Delhi, August 15 (ANI): The Airports Authority of India (AAI) enthusiastically celebrated the 77th Independence Day on August 15. In the presence of AK Pathak, Member (Planning), Dr H Srinivas, Member (Human Resources & Finance), and other senior AAI officials, Sanjeev Kumar, Chairman, hoisted the Indian flag at the Delhi Air Traffic Services Complex of the Airports Authority of India at IGI Airport in New Delhi. A united team of CISF and Fire Personnel then played the National Anthem and presented the Chief Guest with the Guard of Honour. While addressing the gathering, the Chairman highlighted the sacrifices made by the freedom fighters for the country’s freedom and paid tribute to them. He stated, “We got freedom due to the efforts of our patriots, and now it is our responsibility to maintain the unity, integrity, and sovereignty of the nation by performing our duties with full devotion and honesty and contributing to the progress of our country.”
