Governor Acharya Devvrat has emerged as a visionary leader in promoting natural farming across Gujarat. Through continuous guidance and awareness programmes, he is encouraging farmers to shift towards chemical-free, environmentally balanced agriculture. His flagship initiative, Jeevamrutha, developed and practiced on his own 180-acre farm for eight years, has now expanded to over 7.52 lakh acres across regions like Kutch, Navsari, and Saurashtra. This approach has enhanced farmers’ incomes while preserving soil fertility. Beyond agriculture, the Governor actively engages with farmers, women, youth, and livestock breeders to promote organic farming, cow rearing, environmental protection, and cleanliness. His inclusive outreach strengthens social harmony, trust in governance, and sustainable development across Gujarat.
