6 injured including a woman after scooters explode in Kanpur’s Mishri Bazaar; Probe underway

Kanpur (UP), October 08 (ANI): A blast occurred in two parked scooters in Kanpur’s Mishri Bazaar area under Mulganj police station around 7:15 PM today, injuring 6 people, including a woman. Six pedestrians standing nearby sustained injuries and were admitted to the Ursula Hospital in Kanpur. All injured are currently undergoing treatment and are reported to be out of danger. Police forces, forensic teams, and senior officials rushed to the scene. Kanpur Joint Police Commissioner Ashutosh Kumar confirmed a forensic team is investigating the cause of the explosion. Authorities have traced the scooter and will question those connected to it. Police are yet to determine whether the blast was accidental or part of a larger conspiracy and further investigation is underway.
