A delegation of over 20 Buddhist scholars, former civil servants, and eminent citizens from Thailand arrived in Delhi for the 4th Mekong Ganga Dhammayatra . Led by Dr. Supachai Viraphuchong, Secretary-General of the Bodhgaya Institute 980, this pilgrimage strengthens the historic ties between the Mekong and Ganga civilization .A collaborative effort between Thailand and India, the Dhammayatra promotes global peace through the Dhamma's message of conflict avoidance and environmental consciousness, while declaring the Century of Dharma.
