Pilibhit (UP), December 23 (ANI): A major breakthrough against Pak-sponsored Khalistan Zindabad Force (KZF) terror module. 3 Khalistani terrorists accused of grenade attack on Gurdaspur’s police post killed in encounter in UP’s Pilibhit on December 23. The Joint operation by UP Police and Punjab Police has led to the elimination of 3 dreaded Khalistani terrorists. Two AK 47, two Glock pistols and cartridges in heavy amount recovered from terrorists after the encounter. Pilibhit SP, Avinash Pandey said "A grenade was thrown at a police station in Punjab's Gurdaspur and in that sequence, Gurdaspur Police arrived here. They informed us that the three accused are hiding here in Puranpur...When they were chased and stopped, when we challenged them they opened fire on both teams of police. In retaliation, heavy firing was done by the police, in which, the three got critical injuries...When they were taken to the District Hospital, they were declared dead. Two AK-47s and other arms were recovered from them...Two of our constables, Sumit and Shahnawaz have been injured and are under treatment..."
