Srinagar, Aug 2 (ANI): 3-day theatre festival ‘PAGAH’ concluded with a good response in Srinagar’s Tagore Hall. It was organised by renowned theatre group, ‘Vomedh’ in collaboration with the Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (JKAACL). The aim was to attract young artists and provide them with a platform to show their talent. Theatre played a major role in entertain people and also highlight day-to-day social problems in different ways. It has also its own importance and is still popular among art lovers despite modernizations and many digital platforms including television, cinema, internet. For the last few years, a number of theatre groups have been very active and cultural academy is supporting them to promote theatre in the valley. People, especially art lovers, are always visiting Tagore Hall to enjoy these activities.
