Bandipora (J&K), May 10 (ANI): 20-year-old girl Sabkat Malik from the Vijhara area in North Kashmir’s Bandipora secured a silver medal in the Jiu-Jitsu Asian Youth Championship in Abu Dhabi. Despite facing challenges like limited infrastructure and societal stereotypes, Sabkat’s dedication and resilience have propelled her to this achievement. She won multiple gold medals at district, state, national, and international levels. Notably, the Jiu-Jitsu Asian Youth Championship is a Japanese martial art and a system of close combat that can be used in a defensive or offensive manner.
