New Delhi, Mar 03 (ANI): Bad news for coffee lovers and enthusiasts as your daily dose of cup of coffee in the morning may lead to insomnia over a long term, according to Harvard health newsletter. Coffee can also cause fatigue, nausea and headaches. Caffeine blocks effects of adenosine, a neurotransmitter which is responsible for promoting sleep, according to neurologists. Sleeplessness is further known to cause various chronic diseases such as diabetes, cardiac disorders, and high blood pressure.
