New Delhi, Dec 10 (ANI): Mindful yoga is one of the best forms of yoga to calm your mind and keep all your worries behind. Apart from several advantages, mindful yoga can also help youth in controlling their negative, risky, or dangerous behaviour, claim scientists. Researchers from the University of Cincinnati (UC) revealed that chances of stressful life events is related with substance abuse and risky sexual behaviors among youths aged between eighteen to twenty four. The study further suggested that exposure to violence and family dysfunctions during adolescence are often reported as causes for a troubled adulthood. Practicing weekly mindful yoga as part of the study taught the youths to take control of their emotions and helped them develop healthier and long-term coping skills.
