New Delhi, Jan 14 (ANI): A soft bed, cosy linen and a dark room, these are the perfect ingredients for a sound and deep sleep, but what if you realize that there is something under your pillow which is silently killing you? Yes, your best buddy cellphone, which keeps you up-to-date in the morning turns a silent killer in the night. A soft bed, cosy linen and a dark room these are the perfect ingredients for sound sleep, but what if you realize that there is something under your pillow which is silently killing you? Silent killer, wondering who? Falling asleep while scrolling social media and keeping phone under your pillow or near you while you’re sleeping has hazardous effects on your health. Why does it happen? Cellphones emit harmful radiations which can damage your brain and you can experience headache, muscle pain and other health-related issues. Why should I believe it? The W.H.O warned that keeping cellphones near you, while you are sleeping may be possibly carcinogenic, especially in children. So how to deal with it? There is no specific distance but keep your phones at least three feet away from your bed. Avoid this addiction. Best solution is power it off or put it on 'airplane mode' when you are about to sleep. So, sleeping away from your cellphone can save your life isn't it.
