The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has registered a money laundering case against Sameer Wankhede, the former zonal director of Mumbai's Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), officials said on Saturday.
The Bombay High Court on Wednesday extended interim relief from arrest to former Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) Mumbai Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede till July 20 in the alleged bribery case in the drugs-on-cruise case involving actor Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan.

According to the official statement released, Rakesh Shukla, Zonal Director, NCB, Kolkata delivered the keynote speech during the programme.
"About 40 students and faculty members participated in the said programme," it said.
"My wife Kranti Redkar and I are receiving threats for the last 4 days and obscene messages coming on social media. I will write to Mumbai Police Commissioner today about it and demand special security," said Sameer Wankhede.
