The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday issued a yellow alert for Mumbai, predicting heavy rainfall in parts of Maharashtra in the next 4-5 days.
This came as the India Meteorological Department's regional office in Tamil Nadu issued a yellow alert for some districts in Tamil Nadu from 3 am in the early hours of Tuesday to 10 am in the morning.

Forecasting heavy rain in some parts of the state for the next four days, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday issued a yellow alert for Uttarakhand from June 11 to June 13.
"Thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and light to moderate spells of rain with gusty winds reaching 30-40 kmph are very likely to occur at isolated places in the districts of Dhule and Nandurbar during the next 3-4 hours," IMD Mumbai.
