The Congress leader emphasised the need to protect the constitutional right to vote, and vowed to safeguard the Constitution drafted by Dr B R Ambedkar.

The criticism came after a viral video purportedly showed derogatory remarks against PM Modi and his late mother at a rally in Darbhanga on Thursday during Rahul Gandhi's Voter Adhikar Yatra in Bihar.
"If the derogatory language is not accepted in our daily life, then how can it be accepted in public life? Those who are doing this are definitely causing harm to democracy," Bihar Governor Arif Mohammed Khan said.
Earlier, the BJP and Congress workers clashed in Patna on Friday over the alleged derogatory remarks during the Congress' Voter Adhikar Yatra in Bihar's Darbhanga on Thursday.
