Congress party has announced Karamjit Kaur Chaudhary, wife of former Jalandhar MP Santokh Singh Chaudhary, who collapsed during the Bharat Jodo Yatra, as party candidate for the upcoming bypolls in the Lok Sabha seat.
"The district administration has started the work of removing snow on the Kedarnath Dham and the pedestrian routes of Kedarnath," informed the officials.

Meanwhile, Rawat called on the Minister and requested support from the Union Government for developing a health and emergency infrastructure for the lakhs of pilgrims who undertake the Char Dham yatra every year.
