Telangana High Court on Wednesday adjourned the hearing of the writ petition by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to transfer the alleged poaching of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) MLAs case from the police to CBI for December 6.
This interim order came when the Court was considering the writ petitions filed by seven vice-chancellors against the show cause notice issued by the chancellor. They sought to cancel the notice and contended that it is illegal.
Justice Yashwant Varma dismissed the pleas noting that after its disinvestment, Air India Limited (AIL) is no longer a government company, and writ petitions against it, would no longer be maintainable.
