India has raised the matter of threats issued by Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun on the Indian Parliament, with the United States and Canadian authorities, the Ministry of External Affairs said on Thursday.
As the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director Christopher Wray is expected to visit India next week, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) is ready to take up the issue of Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun if the meeting is fixed, sources said.
The intelligence leaders of the 'Five Eyes' countries have accused China of posing a threat to the world, alleging that the country is stealing intellectual property, trade secrets, and personal data all across the world.

Already, the extent of Chinese spying, including cyber breaches, has prompted top national security officials to sound the alarm. In testimony before Congress this year, the FBI director, Christopher Wray warned, “There’s no country that presents a more significant threat to our innovation,
"FBI Director Christopher Wray confirmed that the Bureau has assessed that the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic likely originated from a lab incident in Wuhan, China," tweeted FBI.
Wray had in November 2022, told Congress that he was deeply concerned about Beijing setting up unauthorised "police stations" in US cities to possibly pursue influence operations. He, however, declined at the time to detail the bureau's investigative work on the issue.
FBI continues to consider the counterintelligence and economic espionage efforts from China as a grave threat to the economic well-being and democratic values of the United States.
