Harmanpreet Kaur has a decorated T20 career already. She has captained India at three T20 World Cups and was the first Indian woman to score a century in WT20Is during the 2018 ICC Women's World Twenty20.
Jemimah Rodrigues, who has represented India in 75 WT20Is and has scored 1,575 runs at an average of close to 30, will be a player to watch out for, at the auction on 13th February.
The first-ever WPL will take place from March 4 to March 26 this year. A total of 22 matches will be played with the Brabourne Stadium & D.Y. Patil Stadium playing hosts to the marquee tournament
The BCCI had initially planned to host the player auction on February 6 in Mumbai, giving the five newly established franchises just under a month to prepare for the inaugural WPL season, which is anticipated to run from March 4 to 24.
