Pranavi, who won last week at the Bangalore Golf Club, has already won four times this season and another success this week will give her half of the 10 events completed at the end of this week.
Seher, who started the day one shot behind Pranavi, caught up with the leader at the turn. Pranavi, playing with Seher, birdied the sixth, as did the latter.
The 19-year-old Pranavi, a three-time winner this season, led by two over Seher Atwal, who showed a welcome return to form with 1-under 68 at the Par-69 course.
Ridhima Dilawari, who has not tasted a win since January 2021, had three birdies in a row from 11th to 13th and they came on a Par-5, Par-4 and a Par-3 as she carded 69.
Pranavi Urs is full of confidence having begun the second half of the WPGT. The field includes all the regulars, Jahanvi Bakshi, Ridhima Dilawari, Seher Atwal, Neha Tripathi, Afshan Fatima, Astha Madan and others.
A good solid week for Pranavi showed that she has overcome the injuries which have held her back. She suffered a wrist injury last year and then a few weeks back she had a shoulder problem, due to which she pulled out of the trials for the Asian Games, which have since been postponed to 2023
Pranavi Urs cards of 67-66 with 15 birdies against two birdies and a double, indicated that she has fully recovered from the muscle tear that forced her to withdraw in the first round of the trials for the Asian Games, which have now been postponed to next year.
